EU Leonardo programme of Maritime Training Initiatives

A key element in the project development is an International Work Group and Semiar convened in Limassol on 10 June 2010. This was designed to promote the free flow of information between invited participants and help policy/decision makers to recognise the advantages of such a type generic competence system for Ship’s Cooks. An aim is to glean additional added values to the training tool to be implemented and draw up a common plan for implementation based on the feedback.
